Soaking up the Sunshine

The white sandy beaches, turquoise oceans, and clear blue skies create the perfect recipe for sitting on the beach and doing nothing at all.

Scuba Diving

Although Koh Rong isn’t as popular as other places in Cambodia, such as Koh Rong Samloem, Koh Prins or Koh Tang for diving, it is a good place for novices and beginners. Serious divers will be unhappy with the lack of visibility compared to the places mentioned above, but for everyone else, it’s a good introduction into the world of diving.

There are a few dive centres on the Island, but you want to make sure whatever one you go for is operated by professional diving instructors.

Snorkelling

Snorkelling is a popular pastime on the island and many people enjoy trying their hand at spotting some of the tropical fish who call the area their home. You can see parrot fist, seahorses, jumping fish, yellow boxfish, needle fish, blue-spotted tail rays and even whale shark if you’re lucky enough.

As the sun starts to set and the fishing boats come to shore, you can go out and see the sun setting over the ocean. The unobstructed view of the sunset is like no other and you’ll be glad you took the short journey too see the magical colours lighting up the sky every morning.

Zipline 50ft in the air, swing through the trees and let your inner-chimpanzee come out to play in this exhilarating experience. The view of the island from the top of the trees is like nothing you’ll have experienced before.
