Hotel Policies

Use of all Sok San Beach Resort offers and products is governed by these Hotel Policies. Each person should read these Hotel policies carefully prior to using any Sok San Beach Resort offer. In the event of any conflict between these rules and any terms of use included on a Hotel offer, the terms of use on the Hotel offer shall govern.

Free Room Upgrades

Free room upgrades can be offered by the management. We reserve the right not to offer a free room upgrade at our own discretion.

New cancellation and deposit policies valid from 01 Oct, 2020

  • If cancelled or modified up to 21 days before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged from 01 October 2020 to 20 December, 2020.
  • If cancelled or modified from 21 December,2020 to 10 Jan 2021, no refund will be provided.
  • If cancelled or modified up to 21 days before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged from 11 January 2020 to 30 April, 2021.
  • If cancelled or modified up to7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged from 01 May 2021 to 30 September, 2021.
  • If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
  • Deposit Policy:   A 50% deposit is required to confirm booking. The deposit to be paid once the free cancellation period ends. 

Booking Policy

  • 1st May to 19th December: minimum 1 night stay.
  • 20th December to 10th January: minimum 3 night stay.
  • 11th January to 30th April: minimum 1 night stay.

Hotel Information & Rules

Reception Hours

Our Reception is open from 7.00am – 12.00 pm and our Front Office team are here to help with any queries you have. After 12.00 pm we have someone on standby who can help with urgent enquiries and we also have an evening security guard.

Check in / Check out

Check out is at 11am

if you require a late check out please speak to reception the day prior to check out and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Check in is at 2pm

If you arrive earlier than 2pm and your room is available we will check you in immediately. However if your room is not ready you can store your luggage at reception and enjoy our facilities while waiting for your room.

Restaurants Hours

La Terrasse Restaurant and Lounge is open the following hours:

  • 7am – 10am (Breakfast)
  • 12noon – 5pm (A la Carte Menu)
  • 6pm – 9.30 pm (A la Carte Menu)

Asian Garden Wok & Yakitori Restaurant is open the following hours:

  • 6pm – 9am (A la Carte Menu)

*In between restaurants hours there is a snack menu available in our Sundeck Bar and at the Coco Beach Bar & Grill.

**Please contact the Restaurant staff directly if you wish to reserve a table in the evenings – particularly on the beach.

Coco Beach Bar & Grill (located 30 metres down the beach from reception)

  • 12noon – 6pm++ (A la Carte Menu)

**Please note this where you can pick up your towels to use on our beach sun loungers.

Sun Deck Beach Bar

  • 7am – 12pm (A la Carte Menu)

We also have HAPPY HOUR on draft beer and some cocktails from 6pm to 9pm: Buy 1 drink, get 1 free.

Transport

The times for our private boat to depart the island to go directly back to “The Drop Off” Sihanoukville are: (travel time is approximately 1 hour).

  • 7.30 am
  • 11.00 am
  • 3.00 pm

Please let Reception know 1 day prior to your departure what time you would like to travel. The schedule can sometimes change and we will notify all guests if this does happen.

We have a transport division who can assist with onwards transport for tuk tuks, taxi’s and buses.

Laundry

We do provide an in-house laundry service. In your room is a laundry bag and laundry list. Please complete the list with the items you have, your room #, the date you give the laundry to reception and what date/time you require the laundry back – please note we do ask that you normally allow 24 hours but if it is urgent we will do our best to assist.

Payment

We have a one payment check out system for your convenience. For anything you eat or drink, activities you participate in, transport etc you can charge to your room and pay at the end of your stay with either cash or credit card (Mastercard, Visa or Unionpay).

Hairdryers/Kettles/Water

Please note that Hairdryers and Kettles are available upon request. Please ask at reception if you require either of these items.

Bottled water will be in your room upon arrival and replaced every day by housekeeping when they service your room.

Keys

We ask that you hold on to your key tightly or leave at reception when you are participating in activities. For us to get new keys cut this involves getting someone from the mainland to cut more keys and for this reason we have to charge you $5.00 if you do lose your key while staying at the resort.

Security Boxes

In your room there will be a safety box provided. Whilst we proud ourselves on the safety of our resort we ask that you make use of the security box for your valuables. If any valuable items such as money, jewellery, electrical equipment etc are not placed in the Safety Deposit Box, the resort cannot be held responsible.

Smoking

We would appreciate if you did not smoke in the rooms and the restaurant/bar area. There are designated smoking areas around the resort.

Medical Needs

Basic medical assistance can be obtained at Sok San Village (contact Reception if needed). All our boats are equipped with first-aid kits. In case of serious medical emergency, we are coordinated with the best clinic in Sihanoukville for medical evacuation and mainland treatments.

Boat Safety/Weather conditions

Please note we take your safety on our boats very seriously and therefore we always watch the weather carefully and if the conditions are not good we may have to change our boat schedule or even cancel certain crossings. We will always do our best to give you plenty of notice should the boat schedules change.
